This open bath recording chamber features a wide round aperture for maximum imaging area.
Designed for physiological measurements on cell cultured coverslips
Uses 25 mm diameter coverslip as the chamber bottom
Broad imaging area
Wicked solution removal from bath
Can be used with upright or inverted microscopes
The RC-21BRW is an open bath recording chamber using a 25 mm diameter round coverslip as the chamber bottom. The wide, round aperture of the RC-21BRW maximizes the viewing area on the coverslip and enables excellent access for electrodes. Constant solution level and quiet operation are assured with the use of a wick between the bath and suction well. Bath volume is 240 µl per mm solution height.
The low profile design of the RC-21BRW is ideal for use with large diameter objectives and will accommodate either upright or inverted microscopes. The large imaging area (17 mm diameter) increases the likelihood of viewing desired cell features located around the periphery of the chamber.
